It is therefore essential to design and implement applications that correctly work on Kubernetes and that can take full advantage of its features. **Knowing how Kubernetes works is therefore important also for those who will not manage it day by day.** Kubernetes is an implementation of the more general concept of **Cloud Native**: an approach to software development that aims to take full advantage of the features of the cloud to obtain scalable and robust applications. **Applications developed with Cloud Native concepts have more chances to remain effective and efficient in the transformations that will surely continue to take place in the way of designing and managing IT platforms.** In this 1 hour and 30 minutes online meeting, Martino Fornasa, DevOps Lead at Kiratech, will provide an introduction to the best practices of application development in Cloud Native environments. **ONLINE WORKSHOP AGENDA:** - Introduction to Kubernetes - Introduction to the development of Cloud Native Applications - The 12factor approach ([https://12factor.net/](https://12factor.net/)) and its implementation in Kubernetes - Observability: how to re-think the traditional methods of logging and monitoring to adapt them to dynamic mode of Cloud Native environments. ## KIRATECH: **Kiratech** helps companies in the** infrastructure and application modernization journey** by offering services, training and selecting the best technologies in the Cloud Transformation, DevOps and Security fields in order to accelerate Digital Transformation and promote a Cloud Native approach. Kiratech is **Cloud Native Computing Foundation Silver Member** and **Linux Foundation Authorized Training Partner**, Kubernetes Certified Services Provider and Training Partner.
